越寫英文作文，越能察覺用中文對單字的認知跟實際用法
的落差。不過，距離精確地寫出自己想表達的意思，還有
好~長一段路要走。

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
The most important factor you should consider when choosing
a job is the salary. Give reasons or examples to support your opinion.
Essay:(老師修改過)
I strongly disagree that the salary is the most important factor I should
consider when choosing a job.
First of all, although many people consider that the salary is important,
for me , the types of jobs in which I can learn something useful is more important.
I rather get paid less but learn a lot of skills which can help me earn more money
in the future. This is preferable over having a high-salary job that is boring.
Second, I think that working not only for myself but also for society is essential.
If my company contributes to society, I am definitely proud of being a member of
that company and willing to work harder.
Finally, the quality of my life is indispensable. High salary usually means working
overtime. I don't want to sacrifice time with my family to earn more money. Also,
I need some time for my hobbies, for relaxing, and for experiencing new things.
感想:
寫英文作文時，用中文思維去想英文單字或是語法，是非常不妙的事情，
因為同樣一個字義的單字，中文可以用在A和B的場合，英文也許只能用
在B。
比方說，我在第一段想寫能讓我學習更多的"工作環境"很重要。幫我改文
章的老師說，英文的working environment有幾種解讀，像是the place
that one works(辦公室之於上班族、廚房之於廚師、卡車之於司機等)，
另一種則是other factors in the working environment，像是同事、
上司的管理、辦公桌椅的舒適度、噪音、福利等。
以上的解讀都不包含在我中文認知的"工作環境"定義之內。老師的建議是
改成能學到許多技能的"工作類別"，比較能直接表達我想闡述的意思。
在好幾個改英文文章都挺嚴格的老師督促下，我發現我以前在台灣寫英文
作文，根本就是亂來嘛XDDDD

關於工作類別/工作環境 : 你是想講工作的性質/特徵吧?
也許也包含著性質/特徵的意思吧， 但我覺得類別比較好用英文表達，也比較具體。
